Practitioner Behind the Work

With over two decades of hands-on experience, my approach is shaped by anatomy, therapeutic bodywork, aromatherapy, and thousands of hours working with individual bodies.

My work is guided by a simple principle: the human body has a remarkable capacity to adapt, recover, and thrive when it is given the right conditions.

Through skilled touch, careful observation, and thoughtfully selected botanical support, each session is designed to work with the body — not against it — supporting balance, awareness, and lasting change.

Qualifications & Foundations

My formal training created the foundation for my understanding of the human body, therapeutic touch, and botanical support.

I hold a Diploma in Massage Therapy and a Diploma in Aromatherapy, with studies covering anatomy, physiology, pathology, massage techniques, and the therapeutic application of essential oils.

These foundations continue to guide my work today, strengthened through ongoing practice, observation, and more than two decades of working with individuals and their unique needs.

Journey of Learning & Observation

My understanding of the human body began long before entering a classroom.

Growing up in an active environment, I spent much of my early life exploring movement through skiing, football, cycling, sailing, and physical challenges. Like many active people, I experienced injuries, recovery, and the process of learning how the body responds and adapts.

This curiosity led me to study massage therapy, anatomy, physiology, and pathology at Wellpark College of Natural Therapies in Auckland. During my training, I developed a deeper appreciation for the relationship between skilled touch, movement, and botanical support.

Over the past 25 years, my knowledge has continued to develop through hands-on practice, personal exploration, ongoing learning, and working with thousands of individuals — each providing further insight into the complexity and adaptability of the human body.

This journey has shaped my approach: combining practical experience, scientific foundations, and thoughtful observation to support people in their pursuit of greater wellbeing and vitality.

An Integrated Approach

Every person brings a different history, lifestyle, movement pattern, and set of needs. My approach is not based on a single technique, but on understanding how different elements work together.

Over the years, I have developed an integrated approach combining therapeutic massage, anatomical understanding, aromatherapy, botanical formulation, and a range of complementary bodywork techniques.

My studies and experience include massage therapy, trigger point therapy, reflexology, and traditional Māori Romiromi techniques. These influences have each contributed to a deeper understanding of the relationship between structure, movement, relaxation, and wellbeing.

Botanical formulation has remained a consistent thread throughout my work. I create personalised blends designed to complement the individual — whether supporting bodywork sessions, skincare, muscle care, or broader wellbeing goals.

The focus is not on one modality alone, but on bringing together knowledge, observation, and carefully considered support to create a more personalised experience.

The Philosophy Behind My Work

I believe the human body has a remarkable capacity to adapt, recover, and maintain vitality when it is supported by the right conditions.

Throughout my life and career, I have observed that wellbeing rarely comes from one single solution. It is created through the relationship between movement, recovery, nutrition, rest, mindset, environment, and consistent self-care.

My work is centred around supporting these natural processes — helping people better understand their bodies and providing practical tools that encourage awareness, resilience, and long-term wellbeing.

Whether through therapeutic bodywork, personalised botanical formulations, or performance-focused muscle care, the intention remains the same: to support the body's own intelligence and capacity to respond.

The question that continues to guide my work is:

How can humans preserve their vitality naturally?

Continuing the Journey

My curiosity about the human body continues to evolve.

Every person I work with provides an opportunity to observe, learn, and refine my understanding of how the body responds, adapts, and changes over time.

I remain committed to ongoing learning, thoughtful exploration, and developing practical ways to support human vitality through bodywork, botanical formulation, and personalised care.

SynergiesAlign represents this ongoing process — bringing together experience, observation, and a continued pursuit of understanding how we can support the body in a way that works with its own processes.
